Here is The Rivington Press Limited team...
Neil has been in the printing industry for over 30 years of which the first 10 were spent working in the Publishing Sector.
He worked as a Production Assistant for Haymarket Publishing, a role that involved working on titles such as What Car and Autosport magazines.
In 1982 he moved to work for VNU Business Publications where he was employed as Production Manager on What Micro magazine?
3 years later, Neil was promoted to Group Production Manager, a role that entailed full production responsibility for 10 computer titles amongst which were Computing, Datalink and PC World.
Neil left VNU in 1987 to work at Burrup's, The Financial printer, where he was involved in the production and organising of overnight fast turnaround print.
A year later he moved on from Burrup's to join Premier Metropolis, a Litho printing company based in East London.
Neil was initially employed within the role of Production Manager however he was soon fast tracked to become Production Director, a role that he held for 15 years until he left in 2003 to work for The Blacketts Print Group.
As Managing Director for the Litho arm of the business, Neil was solely responsible for the day to day running of the company across all areas of the business.
In 2005 Blacketts Print Group was subsequently purchased by The Wyndeham Group, at which point Neil accepted an offer to become Production Director at The Rivington Press Limited.
Neil, along with Dave Pett, then became a shareholder in the company in April 2008 following the retirement of the previous owner Steve Cook.
Dave left school in 1984 and immediately started to work in the print trade, initially for the family run print business in Welwyn Garden City, Herts.
Dave worked there in numerous roles, including machine minder, finishing operative, production controller and account executive over a period of 12 years thus gaining an in-depth hands on knowledge of the print business.
In 1996, Dave left to join Brown Knight & Truscott in Tunbridge Wells, Kent to work as a Sales Executive, a role that he enjoyed immensely within which he had significant success.
The daily 150 mile round trip initially was fun however 7 years later it started to become a little tiresome to say the least. At this point Dave opted to leave and joined The Blacketts Print Group in North Weald, Essex as Sales Director in March 2003.
Blacketts Print Group was subsequently purchased by The Wyndeham Group in August 2005, at which point Dave accepted an offer to become Sales Director at The Rivington Press Limited.
Dave, along with Neil Brant, then became a shareholder in the company in April 2008 following the retirement of the previous owner Steve Cook.
Daniel has been in the print industry since 1999 where he initially worked as a Silk Screen minder for Smurfit Kappa.
3 years later he moved to work for The Blacketts Print Group remaining as a Silk Screen minder, before moving off the shop floor and wanting to work within the companies sales department in 2004.
Daniel left Blacketts to work for a print management company in North London in a role that was varied thus enabling him to gain additional experience of the print trade. He was employed there in the Sales department but also spent valuable time working as a print buyer to compliment his role within sales.
It was in the summer of 2009 that Daniel decided that he wanted a fresh challenge, so he left to team up once again with his old colleagues from Blacketts Print Group, that had left to work for The Rivington Press Limited.
Daniel has learnt a great deal from his 16 years + of working within all areas of the print trade. Dealing with many blue chip clients has its challenges but these challenges are the kind that he thrives upon.
